Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

VON Canada is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to clients in their homes and communities.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate LPN to provide nursing care to clients in their homes and communities. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care and will be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to clients in their homes and communities, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Conduct home visits to assess client needs and develop care plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document client information and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the province of employment.
  • Experience working in home care or visiting care agency an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
