Job Title: Handy Person

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handy Person to join our team at PRIDE GROUP LOGISTICS LTD. As a Handy Person, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs, empty trash cans and other waste containers, wash windows, interior walls and ceilings.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, contact tradespersons for major repairs, perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Security and Safety: Perform safety and security checks, move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Physical Demands: Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with 30 to 40 hours of work per week. We offer a recognized employer status and a work language of English.
