About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing our estimating processes, leading the estimating effort on projects, and providing value engineering services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Estimating Director in managing and developing the estimating department.
  • Lead the estimating effort on projects, including involvement in team meetings and proposal development.
  • Provide value engineering services, reviewing design options and recommending the best solution based on cost, engineering, quality, or availability of materials.
  • Contribute to the risk assessment and management process, identifying risk areas and bringing them to the attention of the risk manager.
  • Formulate tender costs for quotation submission, including labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor scope and costs.
  • Lead the estimate close-out process, including tender reviews, sub-proposal reviews, and data analysis.

Requirements

  • Relevant educational qualification (degree preferred).
  • Professional Engineer, or equivalent, designation preferred.
  • Previous experience of major project estimating in a similar or related role.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and documents.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
