About This Role

This position is exclusively open to students pursuing a collegiate degree, offering a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance, accounting, and systems specific to consolidation.

As a Consolidation Analyst Intern at CAE, you will have the chance to expand your knowledge of financial reporting, accounting, and systems, while executing tasks that provide a global view of the organization's activities.

You will contribute to special projects involving process improvement activities, develop your critical thinking and analytical skills, and interact with various business units and corporate departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare consolidation journal entries
  • Ensure month-end close reporting activities are completed with accuracy and on time
  • Interact with different business units and corporate departments
  • Participate in various special projects
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis
Requirements
  • Interest in accounting and a desire to pursue a CPA designation
  • Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and process improvement
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities
  • Excellent skills in Excel
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in French and English
  • Knowledge of HFM, an asset
Preferred Education
  • Pursuing an undergraduate/master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field with 2 years completed
