The Role

This is an active and rewarding role as a Mobile Lab Patient Technician where you will play an important part in on-site patient care in locations including private homes, commercial facilities, and long-term care facilities. You will be responsible for organizing daily schedules, performing phlebotomies, collecting and delivering specimens, accessing lab samples, and maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

- Organizing daily schedules to collect specimens from physicians' requests
- Performing phlebotomies and ECG tracings
- Collecting and delivering specimens to designated labs
- Accession, spin, separate, and prepare specimens for transport
- Booking patient appointments and explaining specimen collection procedures

Requirements

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and access to a vehicle
- Satisfactory criminal reference check
- Phlebotomy experience
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities
