Central Fill Pharmacy Assistant

London Drugs is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Central Fill Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Central Fill Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate preparation of prescription medications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists and pharmacy managers with daily operations, including technical preparations of prescription products, operation of automated pharmacy machines, shipping prepared prescription products, receiving and organizing pharmacy stock.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and multiple London Drugs' stores via telephone.
  • Meet production deadlines for prescription orders and delivery cut-offs.
  • Operate the prescription computer and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain a professional image, reflecting positively on the company.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask effectively and work under changing priorities.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, within a team environment.
  • Exercise proficient computer skills, including experience with Kroll pharmacy software.
  • Isolate and solve problems.
  • Familiarity with computer and technology, an asset.
  • Previous pharmacy experience preferable.
