Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Content Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team at Provalis Research. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content marketing strategy that drives business growth and enhances our online presence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality, engaging content across various mediums, including blog posts, social media, email newsletters, and landing pages, to attract and retain a clearly defined audience.
  • Content Marketing Strategy: Design and implement a content marketing strategy that aligns with our business objectives, including campaign setup, launching, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Editorial Calendar: Build and maintain a strategic editorial calendar to support and promote our offers and to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers.
  • Performance Measurement: Measure and report performance of all digital and social marketing campaigns and provide strategic recommendations for optimization.
  • Competitor Research: Conduct ongoing keyword and competitor research to create content for the site, landing pages, etc.
  • Event Management: Manage logistic aspects of conferences and tradeshows, as well as Provalis hosted events, including webinars and training workshops.
  • Brand Representation: Represent Provalis at in-person and virtual events (locally and internationally).
  • Content Innovation: Identify opportunities for new content and projects that drive organizational objectives.
  • Industry Knowledge: Remain up-to-date with the latest trends in content marketing.
  • Technical Knowledge: Acquire technical knowledge in text analytics, natural language processing, and related scientific domains.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Fluent English with proficient communication skills in French.
  • Writing Skills: Strong verbal communication and proven track record of clear, compelling writing demonstrated through a professional portfolio of examples.
  • Education: BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Business Intelligence, Administration, or relevant field of study.
  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on strategy and execution of content creation.
  • Technical Skills: Experience on the latest tactics and algorithm changes to drive qualified organic traffic, SEO, and analytics tools.
  • Soft Skills: Comfortable with technology, self-starter with excellent project management skills, and ability to lead and manage time-sensitive, cross-functional initiatives with little supervision.
  • Industry Knowledge: Interest and knowledge of current events and trends in the area of analytics software.
Conditions

This is a position that requires some travel. The ideal candidate is available full-time but candidates with less than full-time availability could also be considered. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Provalis Research is not able to sponsor work visa applications, so applicants for staff positions have to be Canadian citizens or otherwise legally authorized to work in Canada.
