Job Title: Truck Driver

At Trans Expert Inc, we are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods, ensuring safety and security of cargo.
  • Route Planning: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Teamwork: Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques.
  • Logistics: Arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Air Brake (Z) Endorsement and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Work Environment: Work Term: Permanent, Work Language: English, Hours: 40 hours per week.
