Valard, a leading utility contractor in Canada and part of the Quanta Group, is seeking a skilled Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician to join their team in Saskatoon, SK.
Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and experienced technician to maintain and repair heavy equipment, including construction and utility equipment, at our site.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair heavy equipment, including engines, hydraulics, and modern emission systems
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on a wide range of heavy equipment makes and models
- Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and meets safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
- Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective equipment maintenance
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a valid Driver's license and a Heavy Duty Red Seal Journeyman Certificate. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in utility equipment, such as telehandlers and four-wheel loaders.
