Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Williams Engineering Canada. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise on various projects, working closely with project managers and engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Lead and participate in design reviews, ensuring that designs meet the required standards and are aligned with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain technical knowledge and expertise in mechanical engineering, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- P.Eng. status with the appropriate provincial association.
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong background in design, project management, and leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
