Mechanical Engineer

MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Sr Mechanical Engineer / Designer to join their Edmonton office. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading design projects, providing technical expertise, and coaching junior engineers and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design projects and provide technical expertise on mechanical building systems
- Coach and mentor junior engineers and project teams
- Engage in hands-on technical work as required throughout project lifecycles
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering degree or diploma
- 7+ years of experience as a professional Engineer
- Detailed understanding of all building systems, including architectural, structural, civil, electrical, and fire
- Excellent written skills and understanding of software programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Word
- Ability to schedule, mentor, and manage project teams of 1-3 people, on 2 or more concurrent projects
- Willingness to jump-in on projects and be hands-on technically when required
