Our pharmacies are passionate about staying at the forefront of industry trends, providing clinical services, and maintaining compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations. We're seeking a Relief Pharmacist to support our stores in British Columbia, specifically based in the lower mainland.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing, administering vaccinations, and maintaining inventory. You'll also ensure that our stores adhere to policies and procedures while keeping up with the latest trends in the pharmacy industry. Your goal is to provide exceptional patient care, maintain a patient-centred culture, and offer private consultations to our patients.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
  • Maintain inventory within the pharmacy.
  • Ensure compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
  • Offer private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
  • Provide clinical services, including medication management and health screening.

You'll Need
  • A Canadian Pharmacist licence and good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
  • Your injection certification.
  • Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
  • Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
  • The ability to assess, plan, and apply clinical knowledge when required.
  • Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).
  • The ability to travel frequently throughout the region for 1-2 weeks at a time.
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation Details

$44.00 - $47.00 per hour, dependent on location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
