Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Optometrist Assistant to join our team at Optometric Services Inc. This is a part-time, permanent role that requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous related experience, be available to work 1 or 2 evenings a week until 7:30pm and Saturdays, enjoy working in a dynamic setting and capable of multitasking. Hours will range between 30-40 hours per week. No Sundays or holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and admit them into the clinic
• Answer phone calls and book appointments
• Perform pretesting scans and tests
• Submit insurance claims and receive payments
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service
• Educate and inform patients about their eye health
• Clean and maintain the clinic environment
