Job Summary


The Senior Financial Analyst (FA III) provides critical financial support for complex transactions and full accounting cycles at BGIS.


Key Responsibilities



  • Support multiple portfolios and complex transactions for month-end close and financial planning
  • Conduct detailed profitability analysis, forecasting revenue and margins, and provide process improvement initiatives
  • Prepare financial reports, including revenue recognition entries and journal entries
  • Assist in conducting accurate and complete forecasting of revenue and margins by project
  • Understand GAAP requirements, particularly around revenue recognition, and interact with financial systems related to supported portfolios

Requirements



  • 3-6 years of experience in public accounting or industry roles
  • University graduation or professional certification (P. Eng, CMA, CGA, or equivalent courses)
  • Ability to communicate complex accounting principles and provide recommendations for process improvement opportunities
  • Advanced knowledge of current accounting systems and MS Office suite of software
  • Excellent analytical abilities, including advanced Excel skills to assist with financial modeling
