Project Manager for Equipment Automation

Are you ready to take on a challenging role as a project coordinator for equipment automation at Johnson Electric?

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage program timelines for individual assembly and equipment automation projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, coordinating, and managing project timelines, open issue lists, and resource needs and allocations.
  • Serving as a key point of contact for communications with customers, suppliers, team members, and management.
  • Creating specific project tasks using MS Project or other tools and establishing milestones as needed.
  • Ensuring project targets are met, including quality, delivery timing, budget, and other key performance indicators.
  • Supporting the multi-disciplinary approach to equipment design and development.
  • Managing project-related open issues and task management lists.
  • Ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001.
  • Creating and managing project SORs for internal use and quality checklists in line with customer and quality expectations.
  • Debriefing management on current progress versus budget and timeline.
  • Coordinating continuous improvement initiatives.

Our requirements include:

  • A technical college degree or 3 years of relevant experience in admin project management.
  • A good understanding of automated solutions and assembly processes.
  • Excellent communications, negotiating, conflict management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organization.
  • A high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, Visio, Project, Access, and Outlook.
