Senior Cost Estimator Opportunity

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Estimator to support our client's software development company in Calgary, AB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise in mechanical and piping knowledge to support existing customers.
  • Analyze project proposals to prepare accurate cost and budget estimates.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to drive innovation in design for successful implementation of cost estimating solutions.
  • Execute bid strategy and attend bid meetings for mechanical projects.
  • Represent the company at industry events and secure new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in capital cost estimating.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Preference given to candidates with a background in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically within the Mechanical and Piping disciplines.
  • Knowledge of cost capital cost estimating software, such as Ircarus, Cleopatra, and Primivera.
  • Experience in sales and business development.
