**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced and insightful Engineering professional to join our team at our ISO certified facility. The successful candidate will support our Sales and R&D efforts by providing structural drawings, print specifications, and bill of materials for various packaging projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with Sales and Estimating teams to develop structural drawings, print specifications, and bill of materials for corrugate, folding carton, foam, and wood projects.
  • Update and maintain designs based on customer requirements.
  • Assist in creating graphics for designs and projects.
  • Fulfill all incoming requests and production tasks according to their urgency.
  • Ensure adherence to the company's brand, visual, and style guidelines.
  • Work with existing concepts and deliver supporting designs, as well as execute original designs based on supporting strategy and brand guidelines.
  • Conceptualize and build custom creative concepts for sales pitches and client presentations.
  • Assist Sales with workflow and management of day-to-day design operations.
  • Determine if the Design Request/Quote Request information is complete.
  • Review results and determine what material to use.
  • Develop packaging shape/style as per Design Quote Request Form.

**Requirements**

  • A degree in engineering is preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum 3 years of full-time experience in a graphic and/or structural design role.
  • Strong sense of design and thorough understanding of design theory including principles.
  • Experience with flexible foams or corrugated design & manufacturing is a plus.
  • Advanced ability in CAD, Graphic Software, and other graphic design technologies.
  • Intermediate experience using project management processes and software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain smoothly functioning relationships across various departments.
  • Ability to lead projects and take on more responsibility as the business dictates.
