Key Responsibilities
  • Screen travellers and their belongings to ensure compliance with security regulations
  • Control access to restricted areas and prevent non-permitted items from entering the secure zone
  • Respond to alarms and report any incidents or security breaches
  • Participate in emergency operations and contribute to the overall safety of the airport
Requirements
  • Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Clean criminal record and eligible for a RAIC (security clearance)
  • 18 years of age or older
  • English verbal and written proficiency
  • Must be located near Iqaluit or willing to relocate before starting
