Women's Imaging Radiologist Expert

MyHealth Centre is seeking an experienced Fellowship-Trained Women's Imaging Radiologist to join our teleradiology team. The successful candidate will serve as the physician lead for women's imaging and provide necessary support to the team on matters related to the field, including policies, best practices, reporting requirements, and continuing medical education.

About the Role:

The Women's Imaging Radiologist will be responsible for reading cases on a consistent basis, identifying areas of improvement, and working with the team to enhance practice protocols. They will also participate in the creation of internal standards of practice and provide feedback on technical improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Read cases on a consistent basis and provide high-quality reports
  • Identify areas of improvement and work with the team to enhance practice protocols
  • Participate in the creation of internal standards of practice
  • Provide feedback on technical improvements
  • May be requested to perform on-site procedures such as sonohysterograms, physician-guided breast ultrasound, and breast biopsy

Requirements:

  • Certification in Diagnostic Radiology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
  • Fellowship training in Women's Imaging with a high level of interest in Breast Imaging and/or Obstetrics
  • Valid practice license and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
  • Remote reading setup including appropriate monitors
