Job Title: Automation Systems Engineer

ATS Industrial Automation is seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Engineer to join our globally growing team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex automation solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop factory automation systems, including mechanical and electrical engineering aspects.
  • Prepare and write detailed technical proposals for potential customers, working from general automation ideas and concepts.
  • Conduct site visits to assist in project or product development, working with engineering design specifications, objectives, and standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technical staff to analyze technical problems and develop solutions that meet customer specifications.
  • Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical design, engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three years experience in mechanical design engineering with working knowledge of electrical design, in an automation environment.
  • Working knowledge of robotics, machine controls, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to present ideas, concepts, and pricing information in a clear, concise manner suitable for technical audiences.
