Job Title: Automation Systems Engineer

ATS Industrial Automation is seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex automation systems that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop factory automation systems, including mechanical and electrical engineering components
  • Prepare and write detailed technical proposals for potential customers
  • Collaborate with engineering management to conceptualize and price automation equipment and projects
  • Assist engineers and technical staff in design and development of products, systems, processes, and equipment
  • Travel to customer sites to assist in project or product development
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in mechanical design, engineering, or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years experience in mechanical design engineering with working knowledge of electrical design, in an automation environment
  • Working knowledge of robotics, machine controls, and manufacturing processes
  • Ability to present ideas, concepts, and pricing information in a clear and concise manner
