Job Summary
Saint Paul Public Schools is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, students, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Provide regular and reliable attendance to ensure seamless operations.
- Be exposed to various cleaning products and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Support an inclusive workplace environment by adhering to equal employment opportunity principles.
- Contribute to an equitable workforce by promoting equitable practices in your job position.
- Work 40 hours per week in a 12-month position.
- Receive salary and benefits in accordance with the AFSCME negotiated labor agreement.
- Participate in benefits, including medical insurance, life insurance, sick leave, pension plan, tax-free retirement account, and flexible spending account.
- Submit official transcripts within 30 days of your start date.
- Comply with formal credential evaluation requirements for post-secondary education completed outside of the United States.
- Claim Veterans Preference by submitting a legible copy of your DD214 to the Human Resource Department.
- Undergo a criminal background investigation and reference checks as a condition of hire.
Requirements
- Unofficial transcripts are accepted at the time of hire.
- Formal credential evaluation is required for post-secondary education completed outside of the United States.
- Legible copy of DD214 is required for Veterans Preference.
