The Store Manager Retail Grocery is a key leadership role responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the store. This position reports to the District Sales Supervisor and is accountable for ensuring the store meets and exceeds its financial goals while controlling budgets, inventory, shrink, expenses, and wage costs.
The ideal candidate will inspire, coach, motivate, develop, and evaluate the team to achieve maximum performance and optimize the customer experience in the store. They will lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating brand selling skills.
The Store Manager will work closely with the District Sales Supervisor and provide feedback to inform decision-making and drive business results.
Key Qualifications- 3 years retail experience with a minimum of 2 years management experience;
- High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline is an asset;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to organize, prioritize, delegate, and follow up;
- Strong emotional control;
- Team player;
- Client-focused;
- Coaching and monitoring ability;
- Ability to resolve problems;
- Pro-active and innovative;
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
