Key Responsibilities
  • Manage staff and assign duties to ensure efficient store operations
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and sales volumes
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure profitability
  • Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure exceptional customer service and sales results
Work Environment

The Store Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of retail management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead by example
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
