Job Title: Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at CarePartners. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering quality healthcare to patients in home and community care settings.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living, promoting independence, and providing emotional support. You will work closely with our Personal Support Manager to ensure the highest level of care is provided to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as personal care, household tasks, and respite care
  • Promote a safe environment by demonstrating proper body mechanics and safe transfer techniques
  • Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, including special diets, as determined by the care plan
Requirements:
  • Valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program
  • Current vulnerable sector check screening and a clear background check
  • Availability to work non-traditional hours, including early morning, evenings, and alternate weekends
