Job Title: Licensed Journeyman Truck Transport Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Journeyman Truck Transport Mechanic to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on a fleet of garbage trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on garbage trucks, including electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and minor engine repairs
  • Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Red Seal Equivalent certification
  • 3-5 years' experience with earth moving equipment
  • 2-3 years' experience with waste handling equipment an asset
  • Must pass all pre-employment tests
  • Caterpillar and Mack truck experience an asset
  • Welding and hydraulic experience also an asset
  • Class 3 license an asset
