We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management and Compliance Specialist to join our team at the Alliance for Healthier Communities. This is a challenging role that requires expertise in managing risk and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organization's risk management program, including identifying and assessing potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements.

This role also involves working closely with our leadership team to ensure that the organization's policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with current legislation.

In addition to risk management, the successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting the development of organizational policies and procedures related to privacy and confidentiality.

This includes conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure that staff members are aware of their roles and responsibilities in maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of client information.

Responsibilities:
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess potential risks to the organization
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to manage identified risks
  • Monitor and report on compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Privacy and Confidentiality:
  • Support the development of organizational policies and procedures related to privacy and confidentiality
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure staff awareness of roles and responsibilities in maintaining client confidentiality
  • Investigate and manage privacy breaches
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as business administration, law, or healthcare
  • Certification in risk management or a related field (e.g., CIPP/C)
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a risk management or compliance role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,895 - $81,686 per year, based on the required qualifications and experience.
