The Opportunity

Riide Holdings Inc. is seeking a skilled Gas Jockey to join our team at Railway Gas & Convenience in Saskatoon, SK. As a Gas Jockey, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a seamless fueling experience for our customers.

The Details

Job Type: Casual Part-Time

Location: Railway Gas & Convenience, Saskatoon, SK

Wage: $16.50 per hour

Shifts: Evenings and weekends, with flexible scheduling and holiday requirements

Reports To: Store Manager

The Responsibilities
  • Fuel vehicles with gasoline or diesel fuel, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Clean windshields and provide excellent customer service, answering questions and offering directions as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, such as stocking shelves or maintaining the gas station area
  • Ensure safety regulations are followed, including no smoking near fuel pumps or dispensers
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management immediately
The Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (an asset)
  • Must be 19 years of age
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift, carry, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, stoop, kneel, and/or climb
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Prior experience in retail, wholesale, food service, or the fuel industry (an asset)
  • Self-motivation, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently
