Skilled LPN for Long-Term and Acute Care Facilities

RhynoCare is seeking a highly professional and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in various long-term and acute care facilities in the Sechelt area. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum

The successful candidate will possess active registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives and be able to work independently or as part of a team. A valid BLS Certificate, First Aid & CPR certification, and current immunizations are also required. In addition, a Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check and ability to work flexible shift times are necessary for this role.

Job Description

We are looking for an LPN who can:

  • Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and resident plans of care.
  • Ensure timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientations and transfers/discharge processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication administration, ensuring adherence to protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver person-centered care that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must have:

  • Active registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Able to work with persons with Infectious Diseases.
  • BLS Certificate.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible shift times, depending on the facility; eight (8) or twelve (12) hours in length.
