Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Portfolio Strategist to join our team at CI Financial. As a key member of our investment advisory team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing optimized portfolio strategies that align with client objectives and risk profiles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement customized portfolios for clients, focusing on asset allocation, risk management, and portfolio diversification.
  • Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance against benchmarks, providing detailed reports and insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver model portfolio presentations to current and prospective clients via various channels.
  • Utilize quantitative tools and risk models to optimize portfolios using mean-variance analysis and other relevant techniques.
  • Tailor investment portfolios to meet specific client needs, including considerations for tax, liquidity constraints, and investment time horizons.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in portfolio construction, asset allocation, or investment strategy roles within asset management or wealth management firms.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on identifying trends, solving complex problems, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in portfolio management software, such as Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, FactSet, Aladdin, and strong skills in Excel for financial modeling and analysis.
