Job Title: Community Service Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Community Service Worker to join our team at Terrace and District Community Services Society.

Job Summary:

The Community Service Worker will provide support and services to clients in need, focusing on education, experience, and skill development. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Case Management: Assess client needs, develop and implement service plans, and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Education and Training: Provide education and training to clients on life skills, substance abuse, and behavior management.
  • Community Outreach: Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies, organizations, and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Reporting and Evaluation: Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and participate in program evaluation and research.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
