At Amico Corporation, a leading manufacturer of medical equipment with 9 manufacturing facilities across North America, we're looking for a skilled Amico Millwork Engineer to join our team. This exciting opportunity offers a comprehensive compensation package, including an estimated salary of $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain Microvellum programs to create custom wood and metal parts, ensuring seamless integration with our manufacturing machines.
  • Create accurate shop drawings for custom casework and furniture, utilizing your expertise in Microvellum to drive production efficiency.
  • Program CNC machines to optimize production workflows and meet project requirements.
  • Verify generated schedules and Bills of Materials (BOM) from Microvellum to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineers to review and validate project specifications against submittal drawings and project requirements.
  • Conduct quality control checks on engineering deliverables to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Train and support junior programmers in Microvellum best practices, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Microvellum programmer/developer.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and CNC programming software.
  • Advanced Excel skills to analyze and present data effectively.
  • Familiarity with typical millwork manufacturing processes and experience working with woodshops, cabinets, and hardware.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
