We are seeking a highly skilled Replenishment Analyst to join our team at Metro Inc. as part of our Supply Chain Modernization initiative. This is a critical cross-functional role responsible for managing, optimizing, and executing the replenishment strategy for store fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities- Release, complement, and monitor system-generated purchase orders for stores, utilizing the SAP sales forecast tool.
- Ensure healthy store inventory levels and forecasts, reflecting proper seasonality, promotions, cannibalizations, and halo effects.
- Collaborate with and provide replenishment expertise to cross-functional teams, including merchandising, store operations, and logistics.
- Act as the primary contact for store operations regarding inventory, ordering, and product flow.
- Utilize analytical skills to showcase opportunities for improvement to various levels of the organization, including senior management.
- 1-3 years of analytical experience, preferably in a Grocery Retail Environment, with a focus on inventory management.
- University Degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or Economics.
- Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Excel and/or SQL Server/PostgreSQL.
- Good analytical skills and an eye for spotting trends, areas of improvement, and recommendations from various data sources.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong customer focus, business acumen, and a result-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work with limited supervision and manage competing and shifting priorities.
- Bilingual in French and English is a must.
- SAP knowledge is an asset.
- Python knowledge is an asset.
