About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our team at LINDBERG HOMBURGER MODENT DENTAL STUDIOS LTD. As a key member of our commercial dental laboratory, you will play a vital role in preparing plaster models and moulds, casting gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases, and performing various other tasks related to dental prosthesis fabrication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Casting: Prepare plaster models and moulds, cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases, and mould wax over dentures set-up.
  • Finishing and Assembly: Finish metal framework of dentures, prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays, and pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in plastering, packing, waxing-up, casting, polishing, and assembly.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with MS Outlook and other relevant software.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to perform repetitive tasks, manual dexterity, attention to detail, sitting, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Personal Suitability: Team player with strong reliability and communication skills.
