Dental Laboratory Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Elephant Dental Studio. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for preparing plaster models and moulds, moulding wax over denture setups, and polishing and buffing dentures.

Work Setting

Our laboratory is a commercial dental laboratory where you will work with a team of experienced technicians to create high-quality dental prosthetics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare plaster models and moulds
  • Mould wax over denture setups
  • Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays
  • Polish and buff dentures
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • 3-4 years of experience in a commercial dental laboratory
Working Conditions

You will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and will be required to work under pressure. You must be able to distinguish between colours and have good attention to detail.
