We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Swerdna Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty equipment, including heavy trucks, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions in heavy-duty equipment using computerized and other testing equipment.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and adherence to manufacturers' specifications.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work on heavy-duty equipment.
  • Service attachments and working tools.
  • Perform other routine maintenance tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Commercial Vehicle Inspection Certificate.
  • Experience with diesel engine repair, including fuel injection systems, exhaust systems, cooling systems, air conditioning systems, lubrication systems, and engine control systems.
  • Experience with powered equipment repair, including hydraulic-operated working attachments, compressors, pumps, and electric generators.
  • Experience with mechanical maintenance and repair, including mechanical transmissions, drive trains, hydraulic transmissions, and brake systems.
Working Conditions:
  • Physically demanding work environment.
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity required.
  • Ability to work in a dusty and noisy environment.
