Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate shipment and receipt of goods, correct packing and processing of orders in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence
- Perform standard tasks safely by adhering to all safety rules and procedures.
- Operate forklift and/or pallet jack for material movement.
- Properly pack, label, and prepare items for shipping.
- Maintain precise shipping records.
- Safely load outbound freight.
- Unload incoming trailer deliveries and handle necessary documentation.
- Quality and Compliance
- Identify, record, and suggest resolutions for any product or process issues.
- Participate in inventory processes and cycle counts.
- Team Collaboration
- Receive cross-training to assist in other production functions as required.
- Clean and upkeep designated work area.
Requirements
No formal educational prerequisites.
No formal experience prerequisites.
Physical Demands
Ability to perform various physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits
The hourly rate for this position typically ranges from $19.05 to $21.05, based on employee qualifications, operational needs, and other permissible considerations.
