**Job Summary**

Brandt is seeking a skilled Labourer to join our Manufacturing team in Nisku. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting in the assembly of heavy and light duty transportation equipment and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • **Cleaning and Preparation**: Clean and prepare parts and components for assembly, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • **Shop and Yard Maintenance**: Clean and organize the shop and yard areas, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • **Equipment Detailing**: Clean and detail finished equipment, ensuring it meets Brandt's high standards.
  • **Inventory Management**: Assist with inventory maintenance, ensuring accurate tracking and storage of parts and components.
  • **Team Support**: Assist other shop personnel with their duties, contributing to overall shop productivity and efficiency.
  • **Safety and Efficiency**: Demonstrate safe and efficient workplace practices, adhering to Brandt's safety protocols.
  • **Communication and Teamwork**: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working effectively with colleagues to achieve team goals.
  • **Attention to Detail**: Demonstrate strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.

Requirements:

  • **Physical Demands**: Meet the physical demands of the heavy duty equipment environment, including lifting up to 75 pounds.
  • **Forklift Experience**: Forklift experience and heavy-duty parts handling are assets, but not required.
  • **Autonomy**: Capable of working under minimum supervision, with a strong sense of autonomy and self-motivation.
  • **Mechanical Aptitude**: Possess previous mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn, with a strong desire to develop new skills.
