CP Distributors is seeking a skilled Field Project Coordinator to support our construction team in Vancouver. This full-time position will provide excellent growth opportunities, diverse projects, and supported career development.


Main Responsibilities



  • Assist project managers in ordering, supply, progression, and coordination of products
  • Prepare detailed shop drawings and schedules using architectural drawings and hardware detailing as per specifications
  • Review estimates for pricing and material take-off
  • Manage the logistics of moving goods from vendors to customers
  • Communicate with customers (project managers and site superintendents) and coordinate project documentation
  • Update product knowledge through manufacturers' literature, training, and internal resources
  • Provide exceptional customer service and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively troubleshoot and maintain strong organizational abilities

Requirements



  • 2 years of experience in a similar role within the commercial construction industry
  • Technical aptitude to apply with production and review of technical drawings
  • Foundational experience with building codes and Division 8 and 10 scopes of work, specifically with building openings (doors, frames, and hardware)
  • Architectural/Building technology background
  • CET designation and/or any DHI credentials (DHIA, DHT, DHC, AHC, EHC, CFDAI)
