Job Summary:

The Night Auditor is a critical role at Fantasyland Hotel, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for guests and staff during the night shift, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform front office duties during the night shift, ensuring that guest requirements are met and night audit duties are completed.
  • Handle guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Answer all calls and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Balance food and beverage departments, run reports, and prepare for the next day's business.
  • Perform nightly shutdown and backup of computer systems, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Reconcile credit card, billing accounts, and gift certificate accounts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare hotel and department revenue and informational reports for distribution to department heads.
  • Assist with valet parking and luggage delivery/storage as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of night audit experience or front office experience in a hotel environment.
  • Ability to lift and/or pull luggage, boxes, etc. for storage (up to 30 LBS).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) is an asset.
  • Neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance, with a positive and friendly attitude.

Terms of Employment:

  • This is a full-time position, requiring availability Monday through Sunday from 10pm-8am.
  • Must hold a valid Class 5 License and provide a 3-year driver's abstract.
  • Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
