Svante is a rapidly growing clean energy technology company making commercial-scale carbon capture and removal a reality. We're seeking a talented Co-op to join our Structured Adsorbent Bed (SAB) design team.
Key Responsibilities- Support the execution of product and technology development projects within the SAB design team portfolio.
- Collaborate with senior members of the SAB design team and the Core Product Technology team to ensure successful project completion.
- Develop and maintain software data analysis tools, with a strong understanding of best practices in software architecture development and data pipeline management.
- Perform data analysis and reporting on experimental and operational data from in-house testing, 3rd-party testing, and Svante and customer systems.
- Support the development of analytical and numerical software models related to key technology competencies.
- Currently enrolled in mechanical engineering or similar degree.
- Proficient in CAD software tools and FEA, especially Creo and ANSYS.
- Excellent grasp of first principles in mechanical engineering, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics.
- Fabrication and rapid prototyping skills and experience, including design for rapid prototyping.
- Experience advancing technology from an immature to an advanced state.
- Proficient with open-source software tools such as Python (especially scientific libraries) and web development.
