Salary: $104,000 - $144,000 per year
As a Senior Nurse Practitioner with our team, you will be responsible for providing advanced nursing care to clients in correctional settings. Your expertise will be valued as you work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of our clients.
Job Description:
As a Senior Nurse Practitioner with our team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive assessments and developing individualized care plans for clients in correctional settings.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care and services.
- Participating in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance best practices in correctional health.
- Mentoring and supervising junior staff to support their professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on Nurse Practitioner practice.
- Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in correctional health or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in areas such as substance use, mental health, and harm reduction.
