Job Title: Software Engineer

Riser Technologies Inc. is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer to design, develop, and test computer-based systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and document user requirements to ensure accurate system development
  • Coordinate the development, installation, integration, and operation of computer-based systems
  • Define system functionality and develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify solutions
  • Develop software solutions by studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
  • Research technical information to design, develop, and test computer-based systems
  • Upgrade and maintain software to ensure optimal performance
  • Lead and coordinate teams of information systems professionals in the development of software and integrated information systems
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls to ensure system reliability
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in Computer Science or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in software development
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
