Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Production Specialist to join our Marketing Department at Islamic Relief Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality video content to enhance our social media presence and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement video content strategies to engage our audience and promote our mission.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to produce campaign-specific videos and ads.
  • Capture and edit live streams of event highlights and create engaging video content for social media.
  • Work with freelance videographers to produce high-quality video content and provide direction and edits as needed.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and other media programs to edit and produce video content.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our brand and messaging to ensure consistency across all video content.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in video production and social media marketing.
Requirements
  • Completion of a college diploma/university degree in Media, Broadcasting, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in video production and editing, or 4-5 years of experience as a freelance videographer.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other media programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with mainstream social media platforms and the ability to create engaging video content for each platform.
  • Multi-lingual an asset.
