Scotiabank Wealth Management Internship

As a ScotiaMcLeod Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting our advisory teams in delivering exceptional client experiences. This internship is designed to provide co-op undergraduates with exposure to various aspects of the full-service wealth management business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level support to Advisor teams by processing client requests, opening new accounts, and maintaining accurate client files.
  • Support business development activities, including creating prospect databases, identifying new relationships, and preparing marketing materials.
  • Contribute to the effective functioning of the Advisor, Branch, and Regional teams by maintaining customer service standards, acquiring knowledge of policies and products, and participating in special projects.
  • Participate in monthly sessions to learn and network across Scotia Wealth Management business lines.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
  • Strong attention to detail and risk recognition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize workloads.
  • Experience with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
