Tarmaan Transport Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Driver to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver to transport goods and materials across the country. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of transportation regulations and a proven track record of safe driving practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Basic security clearance
  • Driver's validity licence check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent travel. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
