Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Groupe PPD. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production unit, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards and meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Department Management: Ensure the efficient operation of the department, optimize production equipment, and maximize workforce utilization.
  • Planning and Coordination: Monitor and participate in planning your area in collaboration with the logistics department based on customer demands and operational strategies.
  • Staff Support: Support department personnel and request necessary resources to ensure smooth operations.
  • Employee Empowerment: Supervise, guide, and empower production staff under your responsibility to achieve quality and productivity objectives.
  • Process Mastery: Master molding and machining processes for bars and ensure products are manufactured in compliance with the quality system, within prescribed timelines, and according to customer requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Academic Background: College diploma (DEC) in Industrial Management Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with experience in plastic molding being a significant asset.
  • Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office environment, bilingualism (French and English), strong communication and teamwork skills, good organizational and planning abilities, and analytical and synthetic thinking.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
