Work Environment

This position is based in a rural setting, focusing on the manufacturing of industrial equipment and automation.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop power systems and equipment.
  • Assist in the design, development, and testing phases.
  • Prepare estimates, schedules, specifications, and reports.
  • Inspect, test, and adjust electronic components.
  • Calibrate electronic instruments and equipment.
  • Build and test prototypes according to specifications.
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data.
  • Set up and operate specialized test equipment to analyze performance.
  • Prepare design concepts and models for approval.
  • Develop software programs and write, modify, and test code.

Qualifications
  • Certification as a Computing Professional (CCP).
  • Certification as an Engineering Technologist (CET).
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in programming languages and CAD software.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk REVIT.
  • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Equipment Experience
  • Familiarity with automated and robotic systems.
  • Experience with industrial engines and systems.
