Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at MacLeod House Baddeck. As a LPN, you will provide nursing services to patients in a nursing home setting, working within a defined scope of practice and adhering to patient assessment and care planning procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing services to patients, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain licensure and stay current with best practices
Requirements
  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse in the province/territory of work
  • Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Child Abuse Registry check
  • Immunization records
  • Adult Abuse Registry check
