Job Title: Lead Talent Acquisition

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Talent Acquisition professional to join our team at BC Cancer. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of our recruitment team, providing guidance and support to hiring managers, and developing and implementing strategic recruitment plans to attract top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent, including social media, job boards, and employee referrals.
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on recruitment best practices and ensure compliance with employment equity and human rights legislation.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement recruitment marketing campaigns and promote the organization's brand.
  • Manage and analyze recruitment metrics to inform recruitment strategies and improve recruitment outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing strategic recruitment plans and improving recruitment outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of employment equity and human rights legislation, as well as recruitment best practices.
